 What is SEO?

SEO stands for "search engine optimization," and it involves a combination of techniques for improving the appearance and positioning of web pages in organic search results.

Since search engines consider hundreds of parameters to show search results - Google employs more than 200 ranking algorithms – SEO works by optimizing your site for these variables as well as getting it crawled and indexed.

It is the practice of getting traffic from organic, natural search results on search engines.

When you should go for SEO

When you start seeing your results in the top 5 in SERP. It develops trust around your visitors. They are more likely to visit you in the search of a solution rather than those ranking below you.

2. ROI

The goal of every business as it is small, medium, or large the need as much as returns on small investments

SEO is very profitable because you do not have to pay for each keyword you want to rank for (unlike PPC). All you have to do now is optimize your website while keeping all the relevant algorithms and rules in mind.

3. Cost

It is different from other digital marketing techniques, SEO is exceptionally cost-effective, can increase brand awareness, and bring relevant visitors.

4. Reliability

The great thing about SEO is if your website is correctly optimized according to search engine guidelines, your ranking is maintained for a long time even if you stop using it, unlike paid marketing.

What is PPC?

PPC is an internet marketing method in which the advertiser pays the owner a certain amount of money each time the user clicks on the advertisement.

When to use PPC?

1. Immediate Visibility

When compared to SEO, PPC provides immediate visibility. Ranking for a term might take some time; however, PPC can boost your visibility quickly and at a low cost.

2. Plan Targeting

You can target your ads to a defined audience according to their demographics, geographic location, device type, etc.

3. Brand presence

Because your ad displays on the top, spending on Google ads can help you enhance brand awareness and recall.

4. Costly

It is more costly than SEO because you have to pay for each click, and the keyword you want to target. However, it's worth noting that, when compared to SEO, the visibility you'll gain will be far faster.

Conclusion

SEO is a relatively slow procedure when compared to PPC. It can take 5 to 7 months, or even a year, to see results with SEO, whereas PPC will provide you leads straight now. SEO is a never-ending process. Your site will never be totally "optimized," but it will be improved as you put more effort into it.
