how German sausages are being made: I took that picture, I watched this process numerous times. Real meat goes in there. Real spices. The stuff is freshly cooked in hot water and sold on the very same day. Yes, this is processed meat, but is a very far cry away from the toxic waste you find in, say, Chicken McNuggets (don’t get me wrong: I like them, I just know they are garbage). We also tend to eat this with real bread. I mean: bread. Typically this is stuff that is made by real people in real bakeries from real ingredients. It is sold on the spot within only a few hours. There should be no preservatives in the bread, yet if well made it stays fresh for two or three days. There is processed food and there is processed food. Ours is of the latter kind.
