Yes, this is processed meat, but is a very far cry away from the toxic waste you find in, say, Chicken McNuggets (don’t get me wrong: I like them, I just know they are garbage). There should be no preservatives in the bread, yet if well made it stays fresh for two or three days. There is processed food and there is processed food. Ours is of the latter kind.
